"The 2025 game will mark 20 years since the first ever alumni football game in Texas"
After two decades since the 2005 history making Highlands Alumni Maroon vs White football game, the Football game, as well as the Basketball and Baseball games return for a coming together of former Highlands Owls players and Alum.
The 2005 games is open to players from the Class of 1978 - 2021. The game weekend will once again conclude on Sunday with a Highlands HS all-class picnic at Comanche Park. Games will be played at Alamo Stadium (Football), Highlands HS (Basketball), SAISD Sports Complex (Baseball). The games are tentatively scheduled for June 2025 with Baseball game played on Friday Night, Basketball games on Saturday Morning, Football Game on Saturday Night, All-Class Reunion Picnic on Sunday at Comanche Park.
The 2005 game, and the years that followed were spearheaded by William Lee '79, Sheryl "Soup" Campbell '79, and Valerie Ladson-Brooks '78. William Lee returns to bring the 2025 games to fruition. Sheryl passed in 2019, but will be honored at the game. To produce the 2025 game, Mr. Lee will be assisted by many HHS Alum who played in the 2005 game.
Alum who are interested in playing in the 2025 Maroon vs White Games will need to provide their own basic items (gloves, bats, cleats, tape, mouth guards, etc). Unlike the 2005 game where Mr. Lee purchased and provided the equipment, the 2025 participants will help fund raise for the football, baseball, basketball equipment.
Alum who are interested in playing, please proceed to the page of your Sport and fill out the form and provide all information. All players will need to provide a current photo, as well as proof that they attended Highlands HS.
2025 QUAD-SQUAD YEARS "2002-2005"
The Quad-Squad years for the 2025 games is the Class year of 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005. What is the "Quad-Squad"? The QS is graduates of the QS years. The year change each year. The 2026 games, the QS years will be 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
For the football game only players from the class years of 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 (and players from class years prior to 2006) can be on the field for the first series on both offense and defense to start the first quarter. The same applies to the 3rd quarter. Once the series are completed, players from all classes may participate.
The same rule applies to basketball, but applies to the first Quarter only. Baseball the rule applies to the 1st and 5th inning.

The Maroon vs White Games is NOT affiliated in anyway with Highlands High School or the San Antonio Independent School District.
